Many former participants remember their time in JDC West as the highlight of their university careers. Our program offers students a variety of valuable skills and experiences that cannot be obtained in the classroom.
I HAVE NO EXPERIENCE, CAN I STILL APPLY?
Yes you can! Delegate applications are open to students of all levels, from first-years to students graduating.
Experience is not necessary. The executive team is responsible for ensuring that you enter the competition with the skills and confidence to win!
All that we ask for is that you are driven and willing to put in the hard work to learn, practice, and succeed.
DO I HAVE TO VOLUNTEER?
Yes, JDCW is not just about competing. A large part of JDCW is giving back to our communities, to appreciate the people that are supporting us.
Every delegate is required to perform __ hours of volunteering by January 2024. If you don’t know where to volunteer, don’t worry! We will be providing opportunities for everyone to volunteer together.
